Robert S. Attia, DMD began his dental education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. He received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons dental student award for outstanding achievement and performance in undergraduate oral surgery.
Dr. Attia continued his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Emory University, completing rotations in anesthesia, surgical critical care, emergency medicine, trauma surgery, otolaryngology and plastic surgery. Chosen as administrative chief resident, he co-authored textbook chapters and participated in multiple advanced courses in craniomaxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial reconstruction.
Dr. Attia enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery including removal and management of impacted teeth, dental implants, bone grafts, management of pathologic conditions of the jaw and face, orthognathic surgery, trauma and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Attia's goal is to provide every patient with personal, caring and comprehensive treatment. He enjoys traveling, working out, watching college sports and spending time at local restaurants around town. In his spare time he is with his wife Emily, their three children Layla, Jacob and Chloe, and their dog Sunny.
